An Idea Borrowed

Years ago on a radio program someone shared that they read a chapter in Proverbs every day. Since there are 31 chapters and the longest month has 31 days it allows you to read through Proverbs on a regular basis. I use it as the launch pad for my personal worship time and branch out from there. On this blog I will try to share some of the insights I have in the Word. I will try to organize them in the archive by reference.

On the Job

(Rom 8:26 KJV)  Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

(Proverbs 31 also read)

A month ago I wrote about our need to be heard and God’s willingness to listen.  That brought to mind this passage that encourages us to express ourselves and to rest in the conviction that God is also helping us with what we want and need to say.

One of the roles of the Holy Spirit is to help us express the inexpressible.  Remember that on some level all Christians have the Holy Spirit.  He is not passive.  He in involved in all aspects of our lives.  Here it seems to me He is working to give us the release we need by knowing that our heart has been expressed.

So?  Rejoice.  You are heard even if you yourself are a bit confused and conflicted.
