An Idea Borrowed

Years ago on a radio program someone shared that they read a chapter in Proverbs every day. Since there are 31 chapters and the longest month has 31 days it allows you to read through Proverbs on a regular basis. I use it as the launch pad for my personal worship time and branch out from there. On this blog I will try to share some of the insights I have in the Word. I will try to organize them in the archive by reference.

Double Wow

(Psa 8:4 KJV)  What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

(Proverbs 3 also read)

This morning I again was overcome with the impossible truth that the God of the Universe is somehow in contact with me.  That means He is crossing the gulf between us and not only listening but abiding within me.  That would swell my head but I am also aware that He is reaching out to every human, now and forever.  He is residing in all who respond.  I am but one fleck of dust on the counter but He is aware of me and recognizes me as being created in His image.  “Wow” doesn’t begin to do that justice.

So?  I would not give me the time of day.  Too many people are not willing to give Him the time of day.  That is a “Wow”.
