(Pro 15:15 KJV) All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.
I think it is easiest to identify this problem in someone else. When I see it in someone else I then compare it to my actions and am often enlightened. Have you ever been around someone who always finds something wrong with the food at a restaurant? When I notice that I begin to review how I have responded to the same thing. Somehow that helps me to expand my consideration. I find that I am more critical that I thought.
So? When I find myself being negative I begin a campaign to get more positive. Since my attention span is short I find that I need to renew the effort on a regular basis. Of course then I am accused of being unaware. Sometimes you can’t win.

An Idea Borrowed
Years ago on a radio program someone shared that they read a chapter in Proverbs every day. Since there are 31 chapters and the longest month has 31 days it allows you to read through Proverbs on a regular basis. I use it as the launch pad for my personal worship time and branch out from there. On this blog I will try to share some of the insights I have in the Word. I will try to organize them in the archive by reference.
