(Pro 29:16 KJV) When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increaseth: but the righteous shall see their fall.
I sometimes wonder which came first, the sin or the power of the sinners. In the case of the chicken and the egg I have an answer but with this cycle I don’t know. And in reality it doesn’t matter. The correlation is there and we know it. One bit of hope that is offered here. We will see their “fall” (4658). If we don’t, then our children will.
It always seems like the bad times will just keep rolling. It seems like we can do little to change what is going on. That is probably true but God is still in charge. He will eventually reign in the evil doers, for our sake if not just general retribution.
So? Hang in there. Be one of the faithful remnant. It is called living by faith.
