An Idea Borrowed

Years ago on a radio program someone shared that they read a chapter in Proverbs every day. Since there are 31 chapters and the longest month has 31 days it allows you to read through Proverbs on a regular basis. I use it as the launch pad for my personal worship time and branch out from there. On this blog I will try to share some of the insights I have in the Word. I will try to organize them in the archive by reference.

Resources

(Proverbs 2:10 KJV)  When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;

In this verse Solomon begins to restate what he said in the first nine verses.  He begins to build a case for how our lives are blessed by the touch and leading of God.

Wisdom comes from outside of us.  It is not the natural condition of our being.  Picture an infant at the level where anything that is grasped by the hand it inserted in the mouth.  As they get older they start looking for places to insert the bobby pen in their hand.  Electric plugs seem like such a perfect match.  When we get older our foot seems to fit in our mouth very nicely.

So parents begin the process.  God gets involved if we will let him.  It is really never too late to begin this journey.  True wisdom will come from outside you.

So?  God is waiting to be a blessing.  For some it might be the first time.  For others it is a reminder to access the wealth available.  Grow in grace.
