Proverbs 2:9 (KJV) Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.
The first part of this chapter lays out a long list of “if’s”. As a conclusion to that it gives a couple of “then’s”. Too often we want to get to the results without considering the causes. They go together. One sets the foundations and parameters, while the other lays out the application and goals.
Notice the qualities that God expects to see in our lives.
So? It is a package rooted in the character of God Himself. We are expected to be extensions of Him. It is a genuine honor. Then…

An Idea Borrowed
Years ago on a radio program someone shared that they read a chapter in Proverbs every day. Since there are 31 chapters and the longest month has 31 days it allows you to read through Proverbs on a regular basis. I use it as the launch pad for my personal worship time and branch out from there. On this blog I will try to share some of the insights I have in the Word. I will try to organize them in the archive by reference.
