An Idea Borrowed

Years ago on a radio program someone shared that they read a chapter in Proverbs every day. Since there are 31 chapters and the longest month has 31 days it allows you to read through Proverbs on a regular basis. I use it as the launch pad for my personal worship time and branch out from there. On this blog I will try to share some of the insights I have in the Word. I will try to organize them in the archive by reference.

Foundations

(Pro 4:26 KJV)  Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.

This would seem to be advice to the young.  It seems a bit late for me to get myself “established” (3559).  Than I asked myself, “Is there ever a time when it is too late to backslide?”  My answer would be, “No.”  With that in mind, this become excellent advice for us anywhere on our spiritual journey.

Carefully consider the steps that you take in life.  Every decision will build a foundation for future life.  There are steps that are necessary for future prosperity and security.  No one else can really do it for you.

So?  We have a rugged year ahead of us.  Begin to prepare so that you will be able to keep your balance.
