(Pro 10:19 KJV) In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.
There are times when I can keep quiet with no problem. There are others where I can’t keep my lips together. One place of too much talk is when I am in a group discussion and feel I have to share to earn my seat. I usually pay too much. One that is more current is being around people who seem to take everything I say and turn it sour. I keep telling myself to be quiet. I don’t need to make any verbal offerings. As they say in reading the Miranda rights, “Anything you say can be used against you.” I have heard that changed to “can, and will,” but I don’t seem to be listening.
So? I want to get rich by practicing “silence is golden.” Maybe today will be the day it starts.
Tangents and Vectors
An Idea Borrowed
Years ago on a radio program someone shared that they read a chapter in Proverbs every day. Since there are 31 chapters and the longest month has 31 days it allows you to read through Proverbs on a regular basis. I use it as the launch pad for my personal worship time and branch out from there. On this blog I will try to share some of the insights I have in the Word. I will try to organize them in the archive by reference.
