As I read today this verse brought to mind the words of Jesus,
(Mark 7:21 KJV) For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,Of course Jesus was talking about us getting our own hearts right. This verse carries the same warning. I noticed something interesting about the word “issues” (springs NASB) (8444). The word seems to often refer to the limitations and final destination rather than the beginning. It is a reminder that the condition of our heart not only shapes how we respond to our world but also sets boundaries on where we can end up.
So? Our attitudes often effect our perceptions and performance. This can be good or bad but if your heart has rejected wisdom I think we can make assumptions about which it will be.
