An Idea Borrowed

Years ago on a radio program someone shared that they read a chapter in Proverbs every day. Since there are 31 chapters and the longest month has 31 days it allows you to read through Proverbs on a regular basis. I use it as the launch pad for my personal worship time and branch out from there. On this blog I will try to share some of the insights I have in the Word. I will try to organize them in the archive by reference.

Life Words

(Pro 10:11 KJV)  The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.

In what ways can our words pour forth “life” (2425b)?  An obvious benefit would be the lessons in truth and righteousness.  It could also be in offering encouragement or comfort to the person who is in a struggle.  It could be the answer that turns away wrath.

We often talk and don’t live.  That is dangerous but consider the combination.

So?  Speak as a representative of Almighty God and a servant of Jesus.  Just because we don’t see the results doesn’t mean it does not make a difference.
