An Idea Borrowed

Years ago on a radio program someone shared that they read a chapter in Proverbs every day. Since there are 31 chapters and the longest month has 31 days it allows you to read through Proverbs on a regular basis. I use it as the launch pad for my personal worship time and branch out from there. On this blog I will try to share some of the insights I have in the Word. I will try to organize them in the archive by reference.

Fitting

(Pro 30:13 KJV)  There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up.

Have you heard about bad things coming in threes?  We recently had three deaths in our circle which made me think of it.  Then we found out about another death shortly after, so there goes the theory.  Still, it seems that some things go together.  Am I the only one who seems to have car trouble on rainy days on which I forgot to recharge my cell phone?

We can’t do much about how others behave but we can do something about our own.  Sometimes I will go the opposite of the crowd simply because I feel like so many people in agreement can’t possibly be right.  Sometimes I am a loner because I have thought it out.  I know that I don’t fit in with our current culture.  I still believe there are things that are always wrong and things that are always right.

So?  Keep in mind that although you have a hard time making a round peg fit in a square hole, it is also very difficult to get a car to move on square tires.
