(Pro 26:10 KJV) The great God that formed all things both rewardeth the fool, and rewardeth transgressors.
The difference between the KJV and all the other translations I have available is jarring. You will notice that the KJV has “God” and I hope you will notice that it is italics. Again I remind you that italics in the KJV are not for emphasis but to let you know that the word is not in the original language. I also remind you that reading the Bible always requires an alert mind and a seeking heart.
The context of this verse is to warn us about the “fool” (3684). Don’t get distracted.
So? Fools are dangerous. Beware.

An Idea Borrowed
Years ago on a radio program someone shared that they read a chapter in Proverbs every day. Since there are 31 chapters and the longest month has 31 days it allows you to read through Proverbs on a regular basis. I use it as the launch pad for my personal worship time and branch out from there. On this blog I will try to share some of the insights I have in the Word. I will try to organize them in the archive by reference.
