An Idea Borrowed

Years ago on a radio program someone shared that they read a chapter in Proverbs every day. Since there are 31 chapters and the longest month has 31 days it allows you to read through Proverbs on a regular basis. I use it as the launch pad for my personal worship time and branch out from there. On this blog I will try to share some of the insights I have in the Word. I will try to organize them in the archive by reference.

The Corner Lemonade Stand

(Proverbs 25:24 KJV)  It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman and in a wide house.

When life gives you lemons don’t make lemonade, find a “corner” (6438).  There is a time to retreat, a time to not take on an issue.  You will have to be the judge of when that applies.  This is just giving you permission.

We are surrounded by people who seem to thrive on confrontation.  They get energy from making others miserable.  I am not asking for anyone to understand why just understand that they are that way.  It is not necessarily something you did.  It is who they are.

So?  Make sure you are not one of those people and then find your corner.  Renew and refresh yourself while you are there.  It will edify you and drive them crazy.  That is called a twofer.
