(Psa 103:3 KJV) Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
(Proverbs 19 also read)
Grace and forgiveness are found in the OT. We have a God who “pardons” (5545) “iniquities” (5771). This seems to be the major theme of this Psalm. This is the first of a series of words restating, defining and reminding us of the desire of God.
We find genuine hope and assurance here. Our “iniquities” (5771) are forgiven but there is a nuance of this word that we need to hear. It not only has to do with forgiveness of sin but also of the consequences of that sin. What a glorious truth for us to embrace.
So? Do you notice how we have constant reasons to rejoice?

An Idea Borrowed
Years ago on a radio program someone shared that they read a chapter in Proverbs every day. Since there are 31 chapters and the longest month has 31 days it allows you to read through Proverbs on a regular basis. I use it as the launch pad for my personal worship time and branch out from there. On this blog I will try to share some of the insights I have in the Word. I will try to organize them in the archive by reference.
