An Idea Borrowed

Years ago on a radio program someone shared that they read a chapter in Proverbs every day. Since there are 31 chapters and the longest month has 31 days it allows you to read through Proverbs on a regular basis. I use it as the launch pad for my personal worship time and branch out from there. On this blog I will try to share some of the insights I have in the Word. I will try to organize them in the archive by reference.

Justice or Mush

(Pro 29:4 KJV) The king by judgment establisheth the land: but he that receiveth gifts overthroweth it.

As we move into the new year it is a good time to stop and think about “justice” (4941).  It is one of the mass of words that the forces positioned against God are trying to redefine.  Notice the difference between the KJV, “judgement” and NASB.  The two English words are entwined in the Hebrew.  I would analyze it as the impartial application of the rule of law.  It starts with a concept the humanists reject, absolute right and wrong.  Those standards are established by God from the foundation of the earth.  They are not a result of this weeks polls among academics.  In justice there is also one law for all.  There are not different rules based on gender, race or class.

The only way we will have a stable, safe nation to live in is if we insist on the Biblical meaning of justice and reject the constantly manipulated mush of the elites.

So?  You can’t know what is right if you don’t read the Book.  Get in the habit.
