An Idea Borrowed

Years ago on a radio program someone shared that they read a chapter in Proverbs every day. Since there are 31 chapters and the longest month has 31 days it allows you to read through Proverbs on a regular basis. I use it as the launch pad for my personal worship time and branch out from there. On this blog I will try to share some of the insights I have in the Word. I will try to organize them in the archive by reference.

Simply Glorious

Psalm 116:6 (KJV) The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

(Proverbs 5 also read)

It is amazing to me how content I can be with my limitations when I am basking in the presence of Him who has no limitations.  What makes it such a joyful encounter is the awareness that He is real, that His loving kindness is extended toward me, that He sent Jesus to suffer on the cross for me, and He is so patient and aware of my limitations.

So? Glory!
