An Idea Borrowed

Years ago on a radio program someone shared that they read a chapter in Proverbs every day. Since there are 31 chapters and the longest month has 31 days it allows you to read through Proverbs on a regular basis. I use it as the launch pad for my personal worship time and branch out from there. On this blog I will try to share some of the insights I have in the Word. I will try to organize them in the archive by reference.

Even Birds

Psalms 50:11 (KJV) I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.

(Proverbs 14 also read)

I hope you spend some time contemplating the incredible riches of God’s wisdom, and love.  I hope you meditate on the fact that He reaches out to us mere humans.  Yes, we are created in His image but we’ve also far short of the glory of God.

This verse gives a little more insight into the majesty of God.  Not only is He aware of us but He knows all the fields in the mountains and all the birds.  The word “know” here is the Hebrew word yada, which means to know very well.  God is involved in His creation.

So?  If God has time for the birds, then I would suggest that He has time for you. Take advantage of that.
