An Idea Borrowed

Years ago on a radio program someone shared that they read a chapter in Proverbs every day. Since there are 31 chapters and the longest month has 31 days it allows you to read through Proverbs on a regular basis. I use it as the launch pad for my personal worship time and branch out from there. On this blog I will try to share some of the insights I have in the Word. I will try to organize them in the archive by reference.

(Pro 9:6 KJV)  Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.

Most people are good with the message of Proverbs until they get to this part.  The clever sayings, bits of advice, promised meals and such are all good.  You rarely have trouble getting people to take free samples.  You may shop at Cosco.  One of the understandings is that you try to go when they are giving out free samples.  Some of the stuff they offer is really good but I don’t think I have ever bought anything they are offering.  That would cost me something.

So?  God has a great offer for us.  The problem is when we have to commit to the sale and sign on the dotted line.
