(Proverbs 10:17 KJV) He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.
As I approach my seventh decade it might seem strange for many people to think of me seeking the “path (734) {end} of life (2425b)”. By my age you often feel like you are getting near the end of the road. Believers in Jesus think in terms of eternity though. As I see the light at the end of the tunnel it does not say “exit” it says “enter”.
Rearrange the words and the KJV “way of life” becomes “living way”. As I look at the many possible translations of “life” I see a lot that has to do with being dynamic. I see an emphasis of the difference between a river and a pond. I see motion instead of stasis. When you listen to the teachings of the Lord your life takes on a dynamic that cannot be stifled.
So? Keep your focus on the things of eternity. Plan big. We are preparing for a journey, not a destination.

An Idea Borrowed
Years ago on a radio program someone shared that they read a chapter in Proverbs every day. Since there are 31 chapters and the longest month has 31 days it allows you to read through Proverbs on a regular basis. I use it as the launch pad for my personal worship time and branch out from there. On this blog I will try to share some of the insights I have in the Word. I will try to organize them in the archive by reference.
