An Idea Borrowed

Years ago on a radio program someone shared that they read a chapter in Proverbs every day. Since there are 31 chapters and the longest month has 31 days it allows you to read through Proverbs on a regular basis. I use it as the launch pad for my personal worship time and branch out from there. On this blog I will try to share some of the insights I have in the Word. I will try to organize them in the archive by reference.

Attitudes Never Stop

(Pro 17:20 KJV)  He that hath a froward heart findeth no good: and he that hath a perverse tongue falleth into mischief.

There are times when I find no “good” (2896b).  I often find bad attitudes sneaking up on me.  I get negative.  I suspect motives.  I take things the wrong way.  I become “froward” (crooked NASB) (6141).  It doesn’t need to be perfect.  It does need repentance.

The Holy Spirit tries to wake me up to these times.  I don’t always listen as quickly as I should but so far He has managed to get through to me.

So?  The day is young, the sun is just peeping over the horizon.  Already I have had to bite my tongue.  I hope your day starts, or started, better.

You must live in the same world I live in.

Grace and peace.
