The True Rebel Yell

(Pro 18:2 KJV)  A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.

Again the Living Bible hits a home run.

(Pro 18:2 LB) A rebel doesn’t care about the facts.  All he wants to do is yell.

Does that make you want to hang your head?  Does it make you embarrassed when you look back and see some of the things you have done and said?  Maybe I am the only one.  I don’t think so but I can accept that if necessary.

An interesting thing about facts and fools is that they think they have them and they don’t have a clue.  Facts are often elusive.  It isn’t because they can’t be found but because we tend to accept whatever agrees with our opinion.

So?  It is funny how often the cure for an illness is the same thing.  Saturate yourself with the word of God.  Know His truth.  It will help you know facts when you come across them and might even assist in keeping your, or my, mouth shut.
