An Idea Borrowed

Years ago on a radio program someone shared that they read a chapter in Proverbs every day. Since there are 31 chapters and the longest month has 31 days it allows you to read through Proverbs on a regular basis. I use it as the launch pad for my personal worship time and branch out from there. On this blog I will try to share some of the insights I have in the Word. I will try to organize them in the archive by reference.

A Word from the Wise

(Pro 15:2 KJV)  The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.

Wisdom is linked to integrity.  What this verse is pointing out is that the wise person can be believed.  They don’t play games or deceive.  A person can have many positive qualities such as intelligence, flexibility, creativity and such but if they are not used with wisdom and integrity they become damaging.

So?  I want to be rooted in truth which means I must pursue wisdom.
