An Idea Borrowed

Years ago on a radio program someone shared that they read a chapter in Proverbs every day. Since there are 31 chapters and the longest month has 31 days it allows you to read through Proverbs on a regular basis. I use it as the launch pad for my personal worship time and branch out from there. On this blog I will try to share some of the insights I have in the Word. I will try to organize them in the archive by reference.

Farewell Bonhoeffer

I have just removed Dietrich Bonhoeffer's Letters and Papers from Prison from my reading list.  It is a great book.  For more comments you can visit my more eclectic blog, Medley of Worship.  Or you are welcome to limit your reading this Perpetual Proverbs.

Thanks for visiting.

Shows how much attention I pay, if I ever knew you had another blog, I'd long ago forgotten it!

I try to keep this blog more focused and worship oriented. On Medley of Worship I am trying to find expression for all the thoughts that pop into my mind during the day and all the things I want to say.

The other day when you were writing about how you journal less now because the blog is fulfilling that need, that struck a chord. I journal but I have never done so much writing because it took so long. The miracle of word processing makes rewrites and editing possible with reasonable effort.

Thanks for all the teaching you do as you write.

Grace and peace.
