An Idea Borrowed

Years ago on a radio program someone shared that they read a chapter in Proverbs every day. Since there are 31 chapters and the longest month has 31 days it allows you to read through Proverbs on a regular basis. I use it as the launch pad for my personal worship time and branch out from there. On this blog I will try to share some of the insights I have in the Word. I will try to organize them in the archive by reference.

Watch Your Feet

(Proverbs 15:24 KJV)  The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.

We are to follow the “way" (path NASB) (734) of “life” (2425b).  That seems so simple.  It is a picture that is repainted all through the Bible.  We are on a journey.  God has given us a road map.  The road map has directions.
(Psalms 119:105 KJV) Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
As in the days of Jesus, “all roads lead to Rome,” in all of history, all paths lead to Jesus.  Remember His words,
(John 14:6 KJV)  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
So?  God has provided directions and the Holy Spirit.  If you are not on the path of life, why not?  If you are have you checked your spiritual GPS lately?
